the unsettled series
The works showcased in the Unsettled series are part of an exploration into black motherhood. Examining the emotions, such as fear and anxiety as well as the tender moments of a relationship between a mother and her young, black, autistic son. These works were begun in late 2022 and are continuing to evolve as I delve deeper into unconscious and explore realms of my mind that are hidden even from me.
